Finally Galway City Council are undertaking the tendering process for the Seamus Quirke Road.

Today Wednesday October 1st, 2008 the construction work began on the "New Bus Lane for the Dublin Road". This is a positive development for cyclists - especially for students attending GMIT.
Construction work is to last for approximately 16 weeks

Have been neglecting to update my blog.
Well it is the middle of European Mobility Week 2008 so its probably appropriate that I have started to update it again. Finally Galway County and City Council are taking part in European Mobility Week. Has to be said that the County Council are making more of an effort, especially for Car Free Day.
